Netra Agro is an independent entity within SVZ and targets the international food industry with a high-quality range of IQF fruit ingredients. As a specialist in matching supply and demand - with an eye for seasonality and market developments - Netra Agro delivers substantial value within the chain.
Since the Doehler Group's acquisition of SVZ and Netra Agro, IQF fruit has been named a strategic spearhead for growth. This offers significant opportunities, partly due to the involvement of Doehler's international sales organisation of around 1,000 FTE.
For this position, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented leader with proven experience in building and managing teams. A person who is visible in the market and the organisation, acting as an ambassador of IQF within the broader Doehler structure. The ideal candidate knows how to combine commercial leadership with operational decisiveness, and operates like a 'corporate entrepreneur': strategically strong, but also pragmatic and hands-on.
The Managing Director of Netra Agro has ultimate responsibility for P&L, strategy development and implementation, commercial policy, operational management and organisational development.

Core responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement the strategic direction of Netra Agro, in line with the group strategy of Doehler/SVZ.
- Strategically manage product portfolio, pricing policy and market positioning.
Commercial Leadership & P&L responsibility
- Full responsibility for the profit and loss account of Netra Agro BV.
- Active management of sales, purchasing and trading activities.
- Building and developing an effective sales and trading team.
- Intensive cooperation with Doehler's global sales organisation to effectively market IQF products.
Operational and organisational development
- Optimise processes, systems and structures to support growth strategy.
- Culture anchoring focused on ownership, results orientation and agility.
- Initiate and lead improvement projects in collaboration with procurement, operations and support departments.
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire, coach and develop employees, in line with SVZ/Doehler's HR policy.
- Creating a performance-based organisational culture based on trust, commitment and continuous growth.
- Show leadership by example and focus on cooperation, transparency and connection.

Profile of the ideal candidate
Education & experience
- Completed HBO or WO education.
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in a similar commercial and/or general management position within an international context.
- Experience within IQF products or related B2B sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing harvest products and experience in trading and market position intakes.
Personality & Leadership Style
- Enterprising, energetic and goal-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Strategic thinking skills combined with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality.
- Connecting leader, culture carrier and change agent.
Languages & Technical skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German, French or Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Strong analytical skills; solution-oriented and innovative.
