HR Business Partner (commercial)

 

As HR Business Partner, you are the sparring partner for the commercial teams, thinking along with them about HR and business issues and proactively contributing solutions. You have a can-do mentality and enjoy working on many different subjects. At the same time, you can think and decide strategically with management and you take care of the operational HR topics such as recruitment, onboarding, terms of employment, sick leave and much more. You will also ensure that HR policies are consistently applied throughout the organisation.

As part of the HR team, you will add value by further developing HR policy together with your HR colleagues. You can think about topics such as Talent Development, Employer Branding and Engagement.

In this role, you will report to the Global HR Director. The HR team consists of 4 members at the head office in Amsterdam and 4 international HR colleagues.

Job requirements

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the business in any HR area so that they can continue to grow together;
  • Recruitment from A to Z: drafting the job description together with management, recruitment, planning and conducting job interviews, up to making an offer;
  • Advising, coaching and supporting managers in creating and implementing employee development plans and improvement programmes;
  • Monitoring absence policy, taking care of absence registration and, in cooperation with the occupational health and safety service and line managers, taking actions under the Gatekeeper Act including conducting absence interviews;
  • Expertly advise and coach managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and laws and regulations to promote a fair and equitable working environment;
  • Supervise, implement, record and monitor HR processes;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, processes and systems for own HR area of responsibility.

  • A completed HR-oriented HBO or WO education;
  • Some 5 years' demonstrable experience in a similar position;
  • Enterprising and enterprising sparring partner who dares to act independently;
  • You know how to persuade, facilitate and keep things confidential;
  • You are pragmatic and can implement solutions efficiently and effectively;
  • You are stress-resistant and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (Dutch and English) - ability to present, train, influence and negotiate.
