For a leading consultancy firm, we are looking for an experienced Managing Consultant Maintenance and Asset Manager France and also having the competence to lead the French team. Are you a professional with relevant work experience, preferably in reliability engineering or maintenance management? The team, consisting of more than 40 consultants, operates from various locations worldwide and supports leading companies in sectors such as oil & chemicals, food & beverages, life sciences, industry, energy, public transport, ports, roads, and maritime industries. The organisation is known for its proprietary methodology, which has been successfully implemented in over 1,000 companies.

The Role

General Objectives:

  • Consultancy activities.
  • Leader of a team of consultants.
  • Business development to grow the country team in line with the strategy of the company in France.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Using existing sales networks, setting up new sales channels.
  • Setting up and executing cold sales strategy for the country in close cooperation with the general sales leader.
  • Managing deployment of team members on projects in close cooperation with Management Team members.
  • Developing the knowledge and skills of the consultants based on agreements in performance and half-year reviews.
  • Managing employee satisfaction based on personal contact with consultants and in close cooperation with the People Development Manager.
  • Organising team building and communication with consultants in your team.
  • Actively managing idle time activities of all country team members.
  • Actively participating in recruitment and assessment of new applicants.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an experienced Consultant with a strong vision on Maintenance & Asset Management. You should have:

  • Master of Science degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Language proficiency: native speaker French, English at least B2 (CEFR reference).
  • Willingness to travel for work during weekdays.
  • Network in consultancy.

Furthermore as an advantage:

  • Practical experience with various maintenance and asset management methodologies
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Passion for asset and maintenance management and the ability to persuasively communicate your ideas
  • Project management skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
