About the job
In this role, you will not only be responsible for the direct care and supervision of employees at our client organisations, but also take the lead in managing our team of doctors. You will coordinate the medical team and supervise young, starting company doctors, providing supervision and substantive support. This makes the position dynamic and challenging, with a nice balance between medical care, coaching and team coordination.
What will you do?
- Supervising employees: Conduct health checks, advise on prevention and assist with reintegration.
- Coordinating the physician team: Organising and coordinating work within the physician team and ensuring that processes are efficient and qualitative.
- Supervision and mentoring: Supervise young doctors, provide professional support, and act as a point of contact for complex casework.
- Advising organisations: Providing strategic advice on health management, working conditions and sustainable employability.
- Policy development: Work with HR teams and management to develop preventive policies that contribute to a healthy work environment.
Who are we looking for?
You are a committed occupational physician who has a passion for leadership and guidance in addition to medical care. You can oversee complex situations well and know how to coach young colleagues in their professional development. You have:
- Completed training as an occupational physician and BIG registration
- Experience as an occupational physician, possibly in a managerial or coordinating role
- Experience or affinity with coaching and mentoring young doctors
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire people
- A positive, flexible attitude and good organisational skills
