Your role as sales manager
Voskamp Beveiligingstechniek is the specialist in security management, intrusion protection, fire protection, camera observation and access control in the Netherlands. From six branches across the country, they relieve clients of their worries with high-quality systems and a comprehensive service package. They specialise in the Healthcare, Logistics, Education, Industry, Offices and Government sectors. Their customer base consists of large national customers with multiple branches, as well as locally established customers.
For the Zwolle office, we are looking for a sales manager with extensive sales experience in Security Technology and managerial experience. You will lead the sales team and be an important ambassador to customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. The sales team of the Zwolle office consists of 3 sales consultants, 2 calculators and a sales office employee. You are the face of the company to large accounts and make a major contribution to order intake. You contribute to the development and improvement of our national sales approach. You are also a member of the MT of the Zwolle office and of the national sales consultation.
What is your range of duties?
- Responsible for order intake with healthy margins and growth of contract portfolio;
- Point of contact for large accounts and makes quotations and calculations independently for this purpose;
- Advises clients on issues and has periodic discussions with them about their performance;
- Tap into new relationships and enthuse about the range of services;
- Following market developments and translating them into concrete opportunities and sales actions;
- Inspiringly lead your sales team and ensure team development;
- Ensuring an efficient sales process and good quality quotations;
- Excellent communication to customers, suppliers and colleagues;
- Contribute content to innovative solutions in the field of intrusion protection,fire protection, access control, camera observation and security management;
- Make positive contributions to various consultations and contribute to developments in the company;
What do we expect from you?
- HBO working or thinking level;
- Stress-resistant, able to cope well with adhoc issues, keeping calm and keeping an overview;
- Extensive sales experience in security engineering and have knowledge of security systems and ICT;
- Communicatively very strong and persuades at all levels, both internally and externally;
- Motivate and enthuse your colleagues to fulfil the objectives and agreements made;
- Excellent oral and written expression skills in Dutch and English;
