This is a all-round quality role (40 hours) with a high degree of responsibility, coordination and substantive involvement. In this role, you are the point of contact for quality, both internally and externally. You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview and have an eye for detail. In addition, you proactively contribute ideas for improvements and take independent initiative where necessary.
The position requires regular customer contact, including in relation to substantive quality issues and during customer and certification audits. Experience in the agri-food sector, and specifically with harvested products, is a clear added value in this regard.
Your tasks
- Managing and maintaining company certifications in the agricultural sector (including BRC, GlobalG.A.P.)
- Ensuring a accurate and up-to-date quality records for both growers and the company
- Management of packaging materials, product specifications and product data
- Supporting both office processes as production from a quality and food safety perspective
- Act as point of contact for customers for quality issues and audits
- Preparing, supervising and following up on internal and external audits
- Responsible for ensuring a safe, quality- and food safety-oriented working environment
What do you bring?
- A relevant education in the field of quality, food safety or agri-food (e.g. HAS, Food & Business, food technology or similar)
- Experience in the agri-food sector is an important advantage, preferably with harvested produce / fresh produce
- Knowledge of and experience with quality standards such as BRC and/or GlobalG.A.P.
- Experience with the preparing and supervising audits (internal, external and customer audits)
- You work structured and precise and are adept at handling administrative processes
- You are strong communicator and feel comfortable in customer contact, both for questions regarding content and during audits
- You are independent, take initiative and proactively contributes ideas for improvements
- You can easily switch between office, production and external parties
