Planner - Agrifood (international)

About SVZ & Central Planning
SVZ operates in several European locations and produces high-quality ingredients from natural fruits and vegetables. Our Central Planning team, based at headquarters in Breda, translates the sales budget into monthly demand planning and liaises with purchasing and production to ensure a flawless supply chain.
Within a close-knit team of two planners, led by our Head of Planning, you will work closely with colleagues in Spain and Poland, among others. You are each other's back-up, and you will have primary responsibility for planning for the sites in Poland and Spain.

Your role
As a Planner, you are the lynchpin between Sales, Sourcing, Production and Quality. You translate sales and sourcing forecasts into weekly production planning and stock management. Your sharp analyses and helicopter view enable you to make optimal use of available raw materials, storage capacity and production capacity, while keeping costs under control.
Your responsibilities:
- Preparation of short- and medium-term production plans for several European production sites (primarily Poland and Spain).
- Coordination with Sales, Sourcing and local planners (including Factory Planner in Poland/Spain).
- Managing around 300 items with varying shelf life, seasonal availability and production yields.
- Co-deciding on direct processing or intermediate storage of seasonal raw materials (such as strawberries) based on cost efficiency and availability.
- Directing inventory management: from adjusting stock levels and expiry dates to speeding up releases through the quality department.
- Flexibly adjust to ad hoc issues or delivery problems together with sourcing and sales.
- Active role in improving planning processes and supply chain performance.

What do you bring?
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level (Logistics, Technical Business Administration or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience within production planning, preferably in agrifood/harvest produce.
- Fluent in English
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
- You are analytically strong, solution-oriented and stress-resistant.
- You like variety, take responsibility and are not afraid to engage in discussions when necessary.
