For a leading player within the industrial services sector, we are looking for a decisive and strategically strong Managing director UK. In this role, you will direct both the commercial and operational direction of two branches in northern England. Do you have the leadership and vision to take this organisation to the next level? The challenge

As Managing director UK you will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day management, strategic policy and commercial results of two branches in the UK. You will be the face of the organisation in the region and ensure solid positioning in the industrial and sewage sectors.

You develop strategic plans, manage a motivated team and create growth opportunities by effectively translating market insights into actions. At the same time, you are responsible for budget management, financial reporting and optimising internal processes. You maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, secure compliance and invest in employee development.

In this role, you will work closely with international colleagues and report directly to the CEO of the parent company. You will be responsible for the full scope of rental, sales and maintenance activities of a broad portfolio of technical brands.

Profile:

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably technically oriented.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar final responsibility role.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
• Demonstrated success in achieving commercial and operational growth.
• Financially literate, strategically strong and decisive.
• Excellent command of both English and Dutch.
• Flexible and communicative, with a focus on collaboration.
• Willingness to live and work in England (North East England region).
• Affinity with technical products and industrial services is a plus.
• You feel at home in a culture where down-to-earthness, ownership and collaboration are key.
