International Account Manager - Benelux - Scandinavia

Do you have a professional background in Food Technology and Sales with a strong commercial drive and want to work in an ambitious, international environment where sustainability is in the DNA?
As International Account Manager, you will be part of the commercial team and work closely with our Agro Procurement and Product Development department to provide technological and application-oriented solutions to customers.

Your duties and responsibilities

You will build and maintain relationships with (key) accounts and achieve sales and margin growth. Our customer segments range from beverages to dairy and snack products to baby food.
You will manage the sales budget for your customers, create account plans and ensure that forecasts are up-to-date so that our factories can run their operations efficiently.
You are responsible for actively winning new accounts, based on your own market knowledge (network) and market research, among other things, and in close cooperation with Döhler Group.
You negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and other sales terms.
You will work closely with our product development team to initiate and coordinate test phases and application research, and take initiative with regard to the development of new applications.
You will organise proactive meetings for our clients with a focus on innovation and growth.
You will report to the Sales Team Lead Northern Europe.

What do you bring?
An HAS/LUW or Economics-related Bachelor's degree and a strong commercial drive and/or proven experience, approximately 8 years, in a commercial role within the Food(ingredients) Industry (B2B, Ingredients).
Experience in the fruit and vegetable industry is a plus, as is experience in the beverage, dairy and ice cream sectors.
Strong & proven commercial and customer-facing skills ('farming and hunting').
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English, other languages are a big plus.
Willingness to travel 20 - 30%.
You are a team player, you enjoy sharing experience and success and collaborating on new projects.
