Are you an accurate and analytically strong finance professional who gets energy from structure, overview and correct figures? At our client, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in our financial processes. As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure that the records are not only correct, but also provide insight and help us move forward.

You will work in a dynamic, international, industrial environment where your expertise contributes directly to reliable reporting and smart financial choices.

What will you do?

• Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts;
• Preparing and posting journal entries (including depreciation);
• Taking care of monthly and year-end closures;
• Analysing differences and supporting consolidation processes;
• Coordinating intercompany transactions with international colleagues;
• Supporting audits and providing required documentation;
• Contributing to tax returns and VAT reports;
• Monitoring the quality of financial data in the ERP system;
• Processing and checking payroll, hours and claims data.
• You will report to the CFO.

What do you bring?

• A completed MBO+/HBO education in Finance, Accountancy or Business Administration;
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role;
• Experience in an international environment (Multi-currency is a plus);
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP;
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365);
• Strong Excel skills;
• Good command of Dutch and English.
