Finance Manager

Vacancy: Finance Manager                              Region: Central/Eastern Netherlands

For a medium-sized industrial production site within an international context, we are looking for a Finance Manager with broad responsibility. The position combines financial leadership, management control and support of general business operations.

You are ultimately responsible for the organisation's financial management and act as a strategic sparring partner for local management and the shareholder. In addition, the position includes managing several support disciplines.

This position is ideally suited for an experienced Finance professional who wants to make an impact in an environment with room for optimisation and further professionalisation.

Your new challenge

You will be the sparring partner of the Dutch managing director and report to CFO of the parent company, combining operational involvement with strategic insight - delivering advice that really makes a difference.

Finance & Accounting

• Ultimately responsible for financial accounting, reporting and closures.
• Ensure reliable financial information and compliance.
• Monitor liquidity, cost structure and financial risks.
• Preparing reports for shareholder and consolidation.

Management Control

• Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial and operational performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs.
• Support strategic and investment decisions.

Broad management

• Functional management of support departments such as purchasing, sales administration, logistics and HR.
• Monitor consistency between financial objectives and operational execution.
• Contribute to improving processes, systems and internal governance

What do you bring?

Education & experience

• Academic work and thinking level in Finance, accounting or business economics.
• Extensive experience in a senior finance role.
• Experience in a complex or international environment is a clear plus.
• Good communication in Dutch, English language is desirable. French is an advantage.

Expertise

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and controlling.
• Experience with performance management and cost structures.
• Familiarity with IFRS or similar standards.
• Affinity with ERP systems and data-driven reporting.

Personality

• Analytically strong and decisive.
• Independent, reliable and discreet.
• Communication skills at different organisational levels.
• Connecting leader with an eye for both numbers and people.
