 Your challenge as Field Sales Representative

 In this versatile role, you will be the commercial and technical point of contact for your customers. You will have the space to translate complex issues into smart, customer-oriented solutions. As Account Manager Industrial Automation, you are responsible for building, managing and expanding long-term customer relationships within your region.

You interact daily with engineers, product specialists, suppliers and, of course, with the customer. From initial contact to quotation, from demonstration to commissioning: you monitor the entire process - with an eye for quality, results and long-term cooperation.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Translate customer needs and requests into customised technical solutions in the field of valves and automation.
  • Drafting customised quotations and supervising the entire quotation process through to assignment.
  • Combine relationship management with targeted acquisition of new clients within the Benelux.
  • Identify market trends, commercial opportunities and relevant technical developments.
  • Conduct market analysis, acquisition and customer research in line with the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as engineering and product development, to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Drafting sales and communication plans in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
  • Contribute to process optimisation and actively participate in internal consultations.
  • Report to the Commercial Manager on progress, results and market insights.
  • Flexible deployment: work takes place from the office, on the road and at home.
  • Availability preferred: 40 hours per week.

 Who are you?

  • HBO working and thinking level (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering)
  • Commercial experience within a technical B2B environment
  • Affinity with industrial automation, process engineering or fluid control
  • Customer-oriented, enterprising and communicatively strong
  • Independent, structured and results-driven
  • Good command of Dutch and English (German is an advantage)
  • Driving licence B and willing to travel within the region

 A salary of up to EUR 65,000 depending on education and experience. An indication of this can be provided to interested candidates.
