Help build leading industrial projects

Are you an analytically strong professional with technical insight and commercial feeling? As an Estimator, you will work on large international industrial projects. You provide realistic, competitive and well-founded cost calculations and contribute directly to winning projects.

Our client is immediately looking for a new employee for their office in the Netherlands, preferably full-time.

Candidates with Dutch nationality are a plus

What will you do?

• Preparation of detailed cost calculations for maintenance, modernisation and new construction projects;
• Analysing technical drawings, specifications, P&IDs and 3D models;
• Working out quantities (quantity take-offs) for civil, mechanical, electrical and refractory work;
• Reviewing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors;
• Develop cost models for new technologies and process improvements;
• Support bid/no-bid decisions with risk analysis;
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and project management for tenders;
• Preparation of cost structures and pricing strategies;
• Participate in client interviews and explain assumptions;
• Identify risks, costs and propose control measures;
• Manage and update cost databases and benchmarks;
• Ensure clear documentation of assumptions and assumptions.

What do you bring?

• A technical college education, supplemented by knowledge of estimation and budgeting;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cost calculations in multidisciplinary projects;
• Experience in heavy industry;
• Strong understanding of industrial processes);
• Excellent Excel skills;
• Command of Dutch and English
• Experience interpreting technical documentation and 3D models;
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
