Your new challenge

For an international service provider within the offshore sector, we are looking for an ambitious Controller at WO level, who has the ambition to grow into the role of Finance Manager.

In this position, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO on financial reporting, analysis and process optimisation. You are involved in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing and support the organisation with clear financial insights.

What will you do?

As Controller, you are responsible for preparing, analysing and explaining financial reports. You will support the Finance Manager in the monthly, quarterly and annual closures and provide reliable information that contributes to strategic decision-making.

You will also actively participate in process improvements within the financial organisation and have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills by managing and supervising colleagues within the team.

• Preparation, analysis and explanation of financial reports and KPIs
• Taking care of monthly, quarterly and annual closures.
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
• Signal improvements and contribute to process optimisation.
• Support internal controls and audits.
• Managing and coaching team members within the finance department.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to parent company and management team.

 What do you bring?

• Completed WO education in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or similar.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience within finance or controlling.
• Strong ambition to advance to the position of Finance Manager.
• Experience or demonstrable affinity with managing a team.
• Excellent skills in preparing and presenting financial reports.
• Analytically strong, accurate and communicative.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel is a strong plus.
• Good command of both Dutch and English languages.
• Experience in a technical or offshore environment is a plus.
