The organisation has built up a strong reputation in realising diverse construction and civil engineering projects and is known for quality, reliability and a pragmatic approach. Due to growth and further professionalisation, the team is being expanded with a decisive professional who knows how to manage projects successfully.

Job description

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of construction projects. You monitor the progress, quality, safety and planning of the work and ensure that projects are realised efficiently and as agreed. You also maintain close contact with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
  - Managing foremen and executive staff.
  - Monitor planning, budget and quality.
  - Monitor safety and compliance.
  - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
  - Identify and resolve bottlenecks on site.
  - Report on progress, risks and results.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong organisational and communication skills. You are decisive, solution-oriented and know how to manage teams naturally.

In addition, you possess:
- At least an MBO education in the field of Construction or Civil Engineering.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of modern planning and organisation techniques.
- Experience with safety and quality guidelines within the construction industry.
- Good command of the Dutch language; knowledge of Spanish or Papiamentu is a plus.
