Team leader / Senior Absence Controller (Case manager)

Our client is going through a huge growth spurt. They started offering Sustainable Personnel and Organisation Solutions in 2003. They don't like complex structures and hierarchical chatter. If a client has an HR issue, they not only give advice, but also take charge of the implementation. As equal partners in a long-term relationship with the client. WHO ARE YOU?

You have a sense of political context, are environmentally aware and possess a high degree of organisational sensitivity. You are customer- and result-oriented, self-starting and solution-oriented, have a strong drive, take initiative and responsibility. You radiate energy and know how to effectively address clients and employees about their activities, choices and results in a positive manner.

 

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Want to participate in team development;
  • Be available for 28 - 40 hours;
  • Have HBO or academic working and thinking level;
  • Possess or be willing to take a Registered Case Management course;
  • Have thorough knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation;
  • Have extensive experience in occupational health and absence management;
  • Have experience in issues of prevention, vitality and sustainable employability.

 

THE UPDATE:

You work together with a close-knit team for clients from various sectors and advise and support employees, managers and HR on a daily basis in absenteeism cases. You indicate the broad outlines, provide the common thread in the complex cases and actually offer the solution, while observing existing laws and regulations. Your clients are located around Utrecht. Together with the directors, management and HR of the clients, you look ahead, inform and advise them on trends, preventive measures, sustainable employability and vitality. You then coach the managers to get moving and take charge.

 

In addition:

  • Are you a genius at reducing the number of (long-term) absence cases;
  • Initiate and implement new ways of working and processes;
  • Are proactive in managing (complex) projects;
  • Do you enjoy providing education and training;
  • You are a true strategist when it comes to absence policy and then take care of implementation;
  • Is customer engagement is very important to you as well as improving service;
  • Do you get energy from coaching the younger Case Managers and take them through the challenges of absenteeism, reintegration and prevention.
