For an international technical organisation, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller. In this role, you will contribute to the further professionalisation of the Finance & Control organisation and act as a strategic sparring partner for the management.

What will you do?

• Prepare, improve and present periodic financial reports, forecasts and budgets;
• Preparing the financial statements in cooperation with the external auditor;
• Preparation of annual business plans for various international entities;
• Financial coordination and reporting towards international teams;
• Analyse and monitor results against budgets, forecasts and targets;
• Function as a sparring partner for management and board;
• Identify risks and opportunities and actively contribute to margin improvement and further professionalisation.

What do you bring?

• A completed college or university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar controlling position;
• Experience within an international technical, industrial or project-based environment;
• Strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Excel;
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• A proactive, independent and results-oriented working attitude.
