For an international technical organisation, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller. In this role, you will contribute to the further professionalisation of the Finance & Control organisation and act as a strategic sparring partner for the management.
What will you do?
- Prepare, improve and present periodic financial reports, forecasts and budgets;
- Preparing the financial statements in cooperation with the external auditor;
- Preparation of annual business plans for various international entities;
- Financial coordination and reporting towards international teams;
- Analyse and monitor results against budgets, forecasts and targets;
- Function as a sparring partner for management and board;
- Identify risks and opportunities and actively contribute to margin improvement and further professionalisation.
What do you bring?
- A completed college or university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar controlling position;
- Experience within an international technical, industrial or project-based environment;
- Strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365;
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- A proactive, independent and results-oriented working attitude.
