Duties and responsibilities
As Senior QA manager, you are (ultimately) responsible for food safety and quality assurance at our European plants (in Belgium, Poland and Spain). You report to the General Manager of SVZ and work closely with the QA organisation of the parent company Doehler. Finally, you manage a team of QA professionals. Your duties and responsibilities are:
- Establish, implement, maintain and improve the various quality and
food safety systems, in line with Doehler's quality policy and requirements from customers,
legislation and certification bodies
- Periodic quality reports, annual QA review and preparation of improvement plans
- Managing and coaching the team in Breda, consisting of 3 QA officers. In addition, you
functional leadership of the Factory Quality Managers in Poland, Spain and Belgium
- Shaping and further improving the culture of quality within the organisation
- Supporting customers with quality-related questions and issue management in case of
problems, complaints or incidents
- Maintain close contacts with all departments such as purchasing, sales, logistics, planning,
product and process development

What do you bring?
At least HBO/WO degree completed in food technology or similar and at least 8 years of experience within a similar position.
You have a thorough knowledge of quality, quality standards (e.g. BRC, IFS, FSSC22000), risk assessments, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
You are a proven people-change manager, a strong communicator, decisive and incisive.
You have the ability to get things done and bring projects to fruition.
You are used to working in an international setting.
Experience with SAP is a plus.

This position carries a basic salary of €100,000/year + bonus + car
