Marcel Heijnen (MBA, engineering background) has over 25 years of experience in industrial automation, semiconductors, motion control and valve automation. He held senior management positions and worked intensively with management teams and investors. His career combines entrepreneurship, international leadership experience and expertise in change and integration processes.

From October 2025, Marcel joined Excellentum Executive Search, where he uses his technical-commercial expertise to select leaders who strengthen organisations sustainably. He speaks Dutch, English and German, and has a strong network in Brainport and the European high-tech industry.

Marcel private:
Outside work, Marcel can often be found on a road bike or in the mountains. He prefers to travel actively and adventurously, with sport and nature always at the centre of his interests.
