Marcel has over 40 years of experience in the European FMCG and agri-food industry, at both listed companies and independent family-owned businesses. His special focus is on plant-based foods, a high-growth, knowledge-intensive market.
Marcel (BSc commercial economics, training at MIT and INSEAD) has lived and worked in Slovakia, Germany and Switzerland, and is fluent in English and German. He is used to functioning in a professional multicultural environment. Assessments describe him as a 'corporate entrepreneur', strongly focused on human capital, teamwork, structure and strategy.

Marcel private:
Searching and finding is Marcel's second nature, but in his spare time he just easily switches to 'go with the flow'. Preferably in the African bush and preferably in a 4×4 with rooftop tent.
