\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 DIRECTOR OPERATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

This position is overall responsible for the \u2018LION Protects b.v. Operations\u2019 this includes production, purchasing and logistics for global Training Solutions (TS) in alignment with the corporate strategy. This role drives, manages, direct and lead strategic organizational design and management processes, employ continuous improvement initiatives, policies and processes throughout operations to increase production effectiveness, improve margins, minimize project risk, to improve overall customer satisfaction and ensure safe working environment through leadership and commitment to company safety standards.<\/p>\n

Your key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Overall responsibility for meeting cost and expense targets of TS and shares revenue and margin targets outlined in annual budgets and revised forecasts with MD of LION Protects b.v.;
\n\u2022 Represent Operations in the LION Protects Management team;
\n\u2022 Governance of the project management process of all TS projects;
\n\u2022 Sharing, collaboration and presenting on best practices up to Management team level at LION and others across the organization;
\n\u2022 Initiates and drives the strategic planning for current and future requirements for manpower, equipment, and space to effectively, efficiently and profitably deliver projects;
\n\u2022 Directs the planning and budgeting processes so that the needs of Operations are anticipated, and operations are properly controlled;
\n\u2022 Implements and manages the activities of project management, ensuring that deliverables are met in a timely, efficient manner at the lowest possible cost;
\n\u2022 Ensures a safe work environment for all employees at both local project locations as the main LION EMEA facility;
\n\u2022 Overall responsibility for finding and negotiating agreements with subcontractors necessary to build or install elements of the TS projects at the lowest possible cost consistent with the necessary quality and service levels with contractual risks transferred and\/or mitigated appropriately;
\n\u2022 Overall responsibility for the production functions to support production of TS products in a manner that meets the project plan and cost budgets
\n\u2022 Overall responsibility for the installation, quality assurance including incoming and project testing and inspection, conform to quality specifications and standards;
\n\u2022 Collaborates cross functionally with customer service, marketing, engineering, purchasing, sales, etc.. to resolve complex problems that affect the quality of orders or service delivery.<\/p>\n

Experience and qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelor degree in Engineering \/ Project Management \/ Business or equivalent;
\n\u2022 5 \u2013 10 years relevant experience in similar organization and international projects setting;
\n\u2022 5 years leadership experience (up to senior management level);
\n\u2022 Familiar with international business practices;
\n\u2022 Experience with large-scale construction projects, especially those including installation of technical equipment or industrial process equipment and controls controlling natural or LP gas; or installation of kitchen equipment in any type of facility;
\n\u2022 Knowledge of international construction contract standards such as FIDIC and \/ or NEC.<\/p>\n

What is offered:<\/strong><\/p>\n

LION EMEA Protects BV offers a very competative remuneration package, including a company car and 40 vacation days, plus the possibility to develop and grow into future management positions in the Group. This position starts with a one year contract with the explicit intention to extend after this first year.
