Do you have a background in sales or functional ingredients with a strong commercial drive? Do you want to work in a dynamic, international environment where sustainability is in our DNA? As a Key Account Manager you are part of the commercial team, you work closely together with our Agro & Purchase -and Product Development department providing technological and application-oriented support to customers. You are responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with key clients and driving sales within the food market. This role focuses on expanding market share in Asia (China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam)<\/p>\n

As a Key Account Manager South East Asia you are part of the commercial team and you will report to the Teamlead Sales . You work closely together with our Agro & Purchase -and Product Development department to find the right products which answers the customer\u2019s needs. You are responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with key clients and driving sales within the food market. This role focuses on expanding market share in Asia.<\/p>\n

Your role<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will build and maintain our relationships with (key) accounts, realizing margin growth.Our client segment varies from beverage to diaries and savory business.
\nYou manage the sales budget for your customers, create account plans and take care that forecasting is up to date to enable our factories to run their operations efficiently.
\nYou will be responsible for securing new accounts by market research in collaboration with business intelligence and a close collaboration with D\u00f6hler Asia ( Thailand)
\nYou preferably have built a nice first experience as a Key Account Manager in the Asian Market.
\nYou have a thorough knowledge of international export
\nYou will negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and other sales conditions.
\nYou work closely together with our product development team to initiate and coordinate test phases and application research and write content for new applications.
\nYou organise proactive meetings for our customers with a focus on innovation.
\nYou will report to the Sales Team Lead Asia.<\/p>\n

What do you bring with you<\/strong><\/p>\n

MS \/ BSc degree in relevant direction
\n Outstanding knowledge of the food \u2013 Asian market
\n Thorough knowledge of international export
\n Commercial and customer oriented
\n Proven track record in setting up new business and demonstrated success
\n Entrepreneurial skills \u2013 hunter profile
\n Good project management skills
\n Result and action driven
\n Strong communication skills
\n Good analytical skills and anticipating abilities (market, products)
\n Excellent spoken and written Dutch & English;
\n Ability to work independently
\n Willing to travel (up to 25%) \u2013 4\/5 times a year for 7\/10 days weekends included<\/p>\n
